Style Crush #3: Grace Kelly

Well this style crush is one I probably won't be copying exactly but it is certainly one I can wish I had the opportunity to copy! For me she sums up 1950's elegance and continued to dress well throughout her life, there were just so many pictures I wanted to include so I had to leave a few out:

So many of the dresses she wore in films are iconic and she always looked beautiful and wore each dress with class .

Grace's perfect fashion did not let up at off-screen, especially in  her role as Princess of Monaco.

I love her wedding dress but chose to display this picture of the back as a change, it was perfect all round -

As a princess Grace had to wear many beautiful ball gowns, and as you can see the gowns don't wear her she wears the gowns, a tricky feat for many!

She makes the 'Cinderella' look work!

Now for my all time favourite, a dress from 'To Catch a Theif' it is beautiful and perfect on her!

What do you think of Grace Kelly's style? Who do you think would be a modern equivalent?

I'm Loving...

French Markets and Holiday Buys!

Yes once again I'm looking forward to the summer or in this case backwards! The last few years I have been to France during the summer holidays and I always come away with some lovely buys!

Last year I went to the Dordogne, as it was my second time there I knew of the best markets, I'm very frugal but this bag just popped out at me and I had to have it!

It adds a cool pop of colour with every outfit and is just perfect for summer and easy to wear with lots of space, I have used it alot since and will be using it even more when the summer comes again!

Me and my family spent many days browsing! I love the whole experience, open air, stalls and for my sisters candyfloss!

The year before I went to Caanes and did not come back empty handed, I fell in love with a colourful striped dress, so far I haven't worn it at home but it is definitely perfect for holidaying:

My youngest sisters dress is also a holiday buy and the middle sisters bag is something she picked up on our day trip to Monaco.

Whilst in St Tropez I was again tempted but unfortunately I could not justify the buy as I probably wouldn't wear it much and it was expensive -

What do you think of my holiday buys? Have you picked up anything good at a market?

Bucket List #4

Go to a Casino

Preferably the one in Monte Carlo or in Las Vegas! Of course I''m not old enough yet but I think it's something that should be tried once and definitely and atmosphere to experience! I'm not big on gambling and while I would like to be able to throw a lot of money around that does not seem likely to be a option any time soon, but if I was to visit a casino it would have to be in one of the two destinations I mentioned before because they are most famous for their casino's!

Bucket List #3

Go to Carnival in Rio!

Where better to let your hair down and its your in a beautiful place, with gorgeous beaches! It would be great to travel just to see things but I think if I was going to Brazil I would defiantly plan it around a carnival just so I could soak up the whole atmosphere.

Style Crush #2: Kim Sears

I have developed a huge style crush on Kim Sears! With winter getting tiresome I have been thinking about getting my summer wardrobe together early - to avoid any stress when I can't find anything to wear! It has made me feel better and of course when I think of summer I think of tennis, and when it comes to style there is no spectators style I would like to steal more than Andy Murray's long-term girlfriend Kim Sears.

This refreshing summer look is one I think will be easy to copy come summer-time, simple yet stylish! That over sized bag is great and the ponytail is the right idea to keep her long hair of her neck, of course the sunglasses her favourite accessories.

Another summer look Kim favours is the floaty summer dress, the colours are great on her, it's youthful and yet modest.
Kim also knows how to rock a LBD, the shoes and denim jacket are perfect accompanying it, the over sized bag is always close at hand.

Kim knows how to rock the front-row catwalk look as well, we don't often see her in a coat because she usually only really out and about in the summer during the Wimbledon, but this proves to me she looks great any time of the year.

Finally my favourite look of hers, this dress is just lovely! :)
